Annoyingly, heavy rain stopped the medal competition on Wednesday. Greens were flooded, bunkers became paddling pools, and puddles dotted the fairways. Two brave souls had set off but were persuaded to return.

Another successful week for our club teams, with the Foxes (pictured) through to the next round of the Abrey cup after beating Pinner Hill 5½ to 3½, and the Rabbits beating Finchley four games to one - well played all - a great result.
