Bush Hill Park Golf Club was founded in March 1895. In 1922, a locally listed building, Old Park Mansion House, became the Clubhouse. The golf course was designed in 1895 by Harry Vardon with a redesign by James Braid in 1925 - two of the greatest players in the history of the game. The course is set in just under 100 acres of parkland, only a few minutes' walk from Enfield Town and a short drive from the M25.
Made up of a combination of golfers and social members, there are over 1000 members at Bush Hill Park.
We are proud to uphold the traditions of a private members’ club whilst welcoming members’ guests and visiting golfers to enjoy our facilities.
Whether you want to play golf, host an event, or enjoy our vibrant calendar of events as a social member, you can expect a warm welcome.
In December 2024, the Golf Foundation awarded Bush Hill Park Golf Club Unleash Your Drive Hub accredited status. Central to the Golf Foundation's mission is the goal of helping more young people transition from learning golf in schools to joining local golf clubs. As a national charity, the Golf Foundation is dedicated to introducing young people from all backgrounds to the sport, working in partnership with clubs and coaches to bring golf to new audiences across the UK. Their efforts aim to change lives through the transformative power of the sport. The Unleash Your Drive programme also includes specialised mental toughness tools, leveraging golf to promote mental well-being among young people - a cause that the Golf Foundation passionately champions.
Bush Hill Park Golf Club believes that it is the responsibility of everybody involved in our club to ensure it remains a safe place, free from discrimination, fear and where possible, risk.
Our recent accolades include being named Golf Club of the Year at the England Golf Awards in 2021, ranking 4th in the county by The Top 100 Golf Courses of the World, winning the Golf Club of the Year award at the Club Mirror Awards in 2019, 2022, 2023, and 2024, and receiving our seventh Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Award in 2024.
The Nightingale Cancer Support Centre is this year's chosen charity for fundraising throughout the 2024/25 Captaincy.
" We have chosen the Nightingale Cancer Support Centre as our charity this year. It is a wonderful, well-established, local charity based in Baker Street, Enfield. It supports those diagnosed with cancer, and their families, away from a hospital environment. With cancer affecting so many of our friends and family, some of whom have benefitted from attending the Centre, it seemed an ideal choice.
The Nightingale offers a wide range of services including counselling, complementary therapies, exercise classes, and creative activities. It works with other charities and local businesses to ensure that those attending experience the best support available.
By contributing to the Nightingale this year, you will be helping members of the Golf Club, friends, neighbours and family diagnosed with cancer, who need these local, sensitive, and caring services."
