Whilst we are all disappointed that no golf was played this weekend due to extreme weather conditions since the New Year, I wanted to refer everyone to Leigh’s blog from Thursday, which explains in great detail the basis for course closures. Closure is a last resort with the min considerations being member safety and course protection. I’m sure we are all looking forward to better conditions in the spring and want the course to be at its best for the peak 2026 golfing season so please bear with us on this. Hopefully the winter weather will improve to allow us to keep the course open, keep our swings in alignment, get putts in the hole, and the scorecard going in the right direction.

Even with course closed, the clubhouse and catering facilities remain open so even if no golf is being played, come and enjoy the company and surroundings at your leisure.

Kind Regards till next week.
