Women's Captain's Blog, 18th December 2025

It was quite a chilly and foggy start for those who were first to tee off on Wednesday for the Texas scramble. This was indeed a fun event played in fours for 13 holes. We had to dress in some form of Christmas gear for this competition. We were able to indulge in our traditional mulled wine and mince pies at the hut on completion of the 13th and were graciously looked after by Kris Agapiou and John Annaradnam. A warm thank you to them.

Wednesday 17th December Texas Scramble

!st - Lucy Bidmead, Margaret Herlihy, Kate Malleson, and Sally Minks - 39 points

2nd - Louise Fickling, Una Kilgallon, Amanda Lawson, and Jane Majer - 40 points

3rd - Lisa Martin,Mary Kemal, Michelle Grammer, and Kathleen Hall - 42 points

Excellent results as it was quite close.
