With the weather drier during the latter part of the week, plenty of members enjoyed the course on the weekend although conditions remain difficult. The Winter League continues to attract entrants with 41 contestants on Saturday and four on Sunday.

The Club Christmas Party on Saturday evening was a great success with great food, great company, and dancing in the main bar. It was good to see both older and newer members
attending and supporting the evening as always.
The third Christmas Party Night is next Saturday 20th. There are still some tickets available and I would certainly recommend the evening. There are some tickets also available for the New Year's Eve Party. Details of all club events are on club web ite and weekly newsletters with signups via IG or speak directly to Debbie in the Office.

We are continuing to prioritise course preservation at this time of year with the wet conditions, in order to have the course in the best possible condition for the start of the summer season. So please adhere to roped off areas, trolley and buggy usage, and any other restrictions that are in place. We will continue to trial the winter fairway mats used in the fourball draw last week and further details will be provided on this in due course.

I would also ask all players to repair pitchmarks and divots. There’s an old saying that you should repair your own pitch mark and at least one other at the same time, so please bear that in mind when you have the repairer in your hand.
