Last week representatives of the Club attended the annual Club Mirror Awards in Leicester. The ceremony was open to members clubs throughout the UK and the club was nominated for a number of awards within various categories.
We were successful in winning threee awards, the Innovative Club of the Year, Website and Marketing Club of the Year, and Golf Club of the Year. This was another great achievement for Bush Hill Park and many congratulations should go to all the staff who work so hard behind the scenes to make this a great club. Well done Stewart, Debbie, Roy, Kate, Michelle, and all staff, and also to the all members for their commitment and dedication over the last year.
A special big thank you to Ahmet and Ozlem Orgen who secured the auction bid for the reserved car parking space available with a very generous offer. The proceeds going directly to the Captain's Charity Noah's Ark Children's Hospice. Thank you very much.
The Winter League had 25 entrants on Saturday, again in very difficult conditions with the early starters benefiting. Sunday had eight entrants.

Next Sunday is the Monthly Captain's draw with the Traditional Christmas Turkey Trot. Prizes of £100 Vouchers for Waitrose to the winning team. The format will be decided depending on exact numbers (traditionally it is a pairs competition) so I’d kindly ask that you try to enter as early as possible on IG so we can calculate tee times, teams, and prizes. Entry is £5, in addition to the usual money sweep that’s optional on entering. We have had over thirty players for the last two months so it would be great to see as many as possible again.
