Women's Captain's Blog, 30th October 2025

The clocks turning back made a difference to brighter mornings, which was more appealing to those teeing off early on Wednesday. This was the first fun non-qualifying event for the winter season. It was an interesting format today and there were 36 players competing.

The pots outside the steps of women’s locker room and hut have been planted up with colourful pansies ready for winter colour. Thank you to Tracey and Lesley who achieved this in between the rain. I am yet to do the pots by the first tee.

Sharon has sent an email out about my Away Day for 11th May at Aldenham. Please DM her by WhatsApp or email as there are limited spaces.

The Christmas Fayre is on Thursday 27th November and we would appreciate bottles and goods for the raffle and hampers. Please bring them in when you are coming to the club and let one of the committee know so we can put it away safely.
